Hey Guys,

Hope all is well, as promised yesterday here are details of the final featured creative for the Ideas Tap Midnight Run today: The Photographer and The TaiChi Master.

The Photographer:

Sonia Sharma, lover of life and a magnet for the weird and wonderful has an accidental history of causing a scene! Or at the very least, photographing one. Born and raised in west London, she has returned to the city as a freelance photographer, after almost a decade of wandering the country in search of stories and magic. Her portfolio of work can be seen at http://www.flickr.com/fotosharma.

The TaiChi Master:

Amaia was born and bread in the Basque Country, north of Spain, 32 years ago. She worked in both the advertising and fashion industries until she discovered tai chi few a years ago and decided to swap high heels and seasonal collections with bare feet and helping people be fitter, stronger and calmer - some, even happier! I have wanted to do Tai Chi to the sun rising over Waterloo Bridge and this is how the Midnight Run will end.

IMPORTANT INFO:

We will begin at 5:45pm on the 16th to finish on the 17th at 6am.

THE MEETING PLACE:

London Bridge Station, Joiner Street entrance, beside Starbucks, opposite Guy’s Hospital, London. Remember to come dressed for the weather, bring a pen to write with, cash for food, and above all, come with an open mind and expect the unexpected.

See you tonight!

Hey Guys,

Hope all is well and you are gearing up for the Midnight Run this Friday. I am deep in the planning stages and fine-tuning things, but it is shaping up to be a really great one. The five artists have been chosen and I’d like to present the first three to you, The Filmmaker, The Lightpainter and The Storyteller.

The Filmmaker:

Filmmaker Ben Garfield, a born and bred Londoner, still finds it tricky to get his head around the myriad wonders of this wonderful, dangerous, strange and sexy city. He has had his short films chosen as part of the official selections for the BFI Future Film Festival 2013 and Sundance London’s 2013 Short Film Competition and recently directed the winning film in Dave’s Leicester Comedy Festival “Show us your Shorts” competition. You can find much of his work, including a short film about London at Night, on his website: http://bengarfield.com - he is really, really good, I personally love this by him: https://vimeo.com/71330281.

The Light painter:

Michael Petiafo is a qualified image scientist with 15 years experience working in the fields of youth, dance and photography. With this acquired knowledge, Michael has been able to develop fun and interactive projects for young people and adults. These projects have included photography mentoring, dance workshops and motivational works to challenge self improvement. Michael is based in Brixton and uses his studio as a creative hub for the arts with a main focus on photography and dance. Lately he has been working on light painting projects for organisations in London and Kent. Michael’s passion stems from his desire to show how we are greater than the sum of our parts.

The Storyteller:

Born in Oxford in 1992, Gemma loved to perform from a very early age. After leaving school she went to study Performing Arts at Abingdon and Witney College and is now in her final year at East 15 Acting School, studying BA (Hons) World Performance. This course has enabled Gemma to study storytelling through many different performance styles from around the world including classic Indian dance, Kecak and Commedia Dell’arte.  This is Gemma’s first Midnight Run and is she is very excited to be taking part.

IMPORTANT INFO:
